The Relationship Contract in itself is an alternative to marriage, or simply living together without a plan. The components of the contract are what is most important. If you are dating and have a fear of a lifetime commitment, or you are simply not "sure" yet, the Relationship Agreement may be for you. |

| ONE NIGHT CONTRACT Some people complain about "dry spells" or sexual "rain delays" in there love life. There are times when people need to release some tension. The One Night Agreement was created by one of the characters in the book to provide a way to approach another person with a written request for a single night of passion. Although it was intended to be fun and funny at the time, and not necessarily a "one night stand," this very short term One Night Contract might just be the ticket if you have had your "eye" on someone new. For you marriage folks, try putting one in an envelope and mailing it to your spouse, or magnet a copy on the fridge. Then be prepared for some great romance & intimacy. |

ETERNAL MESSAGE SERVICE Besides relationship help, another important subject covered in the story is death. The opening chapter of the book is a scene at a wake. It was for David, the Father of one of the main characters. He knew for over a year he was dying of cancer and did not tell anyone. As the story progresses, you find out why he did not tell his family, and what he did to prepare for his death. He planned his own wake, funeral and reception in detail. You will be fascinated by the other things he planned to have happen after he died, sometimes years later. The characters in the book are inspired by what he did. They elaborate on his concept, and develop ways you can leave messages for people after you die. The list of reasons, and ways to communicate messages after you die is endless. CAL'S BEER STORIES An amazing character named Cal in "Together Again" was the one who took it upon himself to put the Relationship Contract concept into words to help his friend Bob. Cal's mind drifted to "never never land" one day and he experimented with writing two bizarre beer stories. Relationship Advice and Marriage Advice is good, (as is romance and intimacy) but if you are wondering what these stupid Beer Stories have to do with relationships and death, you will have to read the book.
